lately, on hiatus. been hybernating. busy with work. social life is DOA. confused. lost. demoralized by some things. haha.

on the bright side, we have only four more days before sine die. gawd! i love congressional recess. i promise to make the most out of it. plan trips. update this site on recent trips. take photos. upload photos. workout. surf. touch base with friends.

and here’s proof that i’m really working.  it’s been a productive april and may. we’re about to pass on third reading the proposed anti-trust/competition law.  i put some really hard work on this one and finally, i think i have developed a better appreciation and understanding of how anti-trust/competition policy works.

and then the boss is pushing for the passage of his twin bills aimed at lowering electricity costs – senate bill no. 3147 and 3148.  i’m handling senate bill no. 3147 which seeks to impose a 3% franchise tax on the distribution income of distribution utilities in lieu of all nationa and local taxes.  the other one, senate bill no. 3148 seeks to reduce the government share from the exploration, development and utilization of indigenious sources of energy and use whatever reduction to lower the cost of electricity. these might sound terribly boring and technical for some. haha. but since we’re busy drumming up support, let this be my way of telling the few people who drop by this site. and please do the country a favor, support the bills and pass the message. :-)
